A Buying Group is a company that will buy specific products from their users at a designated price, and ask that the customer ship or drop-off their products to their warehousing facilities. All a customer has to do is locate this product, buy it from a distributor such as Amazon, and ship it to the Buying Group’s address. This way, the Buying Groups are able to get access to limited-time / limited-quantity-per-customer deals in bulk, and the customer can make a quick profit by sending it to the Buying Group, gaining valuable credit card points in the process. It’s a win - win for both parties, as long as nothing goes wrong!
When dealing with large shipments of expensive items such as computers, tablets, headphones, etc, things often break or disappear in transit. Packages that were supposed to have contained 4 items may be checked in by the Buying Group as only containing 3, or items may be delivered broken and require replacement. Other products and services will use your passwords to gain unrestricted access to your accounts.
